Rhys Thomas, London Blue Badge Guide
Visiting a big city like London can be overwhelming, there’s so much to see and do, going around with a qualified guide can help you get much more out of that experience. Whether it’s your first time in London and you want an overview of its most famous sights, or if you are a Londoner yourself and want to explore the backstreets. If you’re interested in the history of a particular area, or if you would rather hear about what’s going on right now and in the future: I am the guide for you.
I am based in Windsor, so if you are looking to explore Windsor Castle, Windsor Town, or the village of Eton, famous for Eton College, then there are few guides better to take you around. Also, most guides are based in London and will charge a full-day rate and travel costs to lead a tour of Windsor, whereas I’m happy to do it as a half day tour.
I have been guiding tours in London and day trips from London since 2010. I am a Blue Badge Guide, the highest qualification for tour guides in the UK, which means that I can take you inside attractions including Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London, and St Paul’s Cathedral.
I can also take you to places you can get to from London in a day, such as Hampton Court Palace, and Stratford-upon-Avon.
I’m a qualified City of London Guide, meaning that I specialise in taking people around the wonderful winding streets of the “Square Mile”, the most historic part of London.
